Evans Authority Content Engine

Build authority. Answer the questions your buyers are asking. Become easier to find and easier to trust.

Not blog writing. Not bulk AI content. A managed programme of topic strategy, buyer-question research, competitor gap analysis, genuine source research and substantial authority articles, each with a clear commercial purpose.

A structured weekly programme of properly researched, commercially useful B2B content — written for buyers first, and built so Google and AI systems can understand what your business genuinely knows.

From £1,495 + VAT / month

Three-month initial programme · monthly rolling thereafter

  • Commercial topic strategy
  • Buyer-question research
  • Competitor and content-gap research
  • Genuine source research
  • Long-form authority writing
  • Google search-intent structure
  • AI-answer readiness
  • Internal-link architecture
  • Conversion architecture
  • Publication-ready copy
  • Professional Evans reporting
  • Ongoing content intelligence

The difference

This is not a blog-writing service.

Generic content production begins with the question “what keyword shall we write about?”. That is the wrong starting point for a technical or considered B2B sale.

What does the buyer need to understand before they trust, shortlist or contact this business?

Everything else follows from that question. Each topic is then tested against buyer intent, the commercial questions that actually come up in sales conversations, market change, competitor gaps, your own expertise, search demand, AI-answer opportunity, available proof, internal-link value and the right commercial next step.

  • Buyer intent and decision stage
  • The commercial questions your sales conversations keep repeating
  • Market, regulatory or sector change
  • Gaps competitors have left open
  • Your genuine industry expertise
  • Search demand — relevance before volume
  • AI-answer and conversational-search opportunity
  • Evidence and proof you can legitimately use
  • Internal-link opportunities across your estate
  • One clear commercial next step

Every piece of content should have a reason to exist. If it does not, it should not be written.

Discuss Authority Content Engine

We do not sell word counts.

Substantial articles often land somewhere around 1,500 to 2,500 words, but length is decided by what the subject actually requires. Some questions justify considerably more. Some are answered properly in less. Content is never padded to satisfy an arbitrary target.

  • Depth
  • Usefulness
  • Authority
  • Commercial relevance

Terms

Three-month initial programme. Monthly rolling thereafter.

Initial term
Three months. Authority is cumulative — a shorter run cannot show whether the programme is working.
After the initial term
The programme continues on a monthly rolling basis.
Notice
One month's notice after the initial term, given at any point.

Both packages run on the same terms. There is no long-term contract and no automatic annual commitment.

Adding other Evans services

Adding a new productised service

If an Authority Content Engine client adds another new productised Evans service, that additional service is discounted by 5%. The Authority Content Engine subscription stays at full price.

Adding Authority Content Engine to a larger engagement

If the Authority Content Engine is added to an existing higher-value engagement — fractional commercial leadership, international market entry, international recruitment, major digital infrastructure or another qualifying strategic engagement — the Authority Content Engine is discounted by 10%. The higher-value service stays at full price.

Discounts do not stack. Where more than one applies, the highest single applicable discount is used.

Scope

One primary language. One commercial content programme.

The standard fee covers one primary language and one commercial content programme. It does not include unlimited multilingual content production.

Where a business needs German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese or any other localised content programme, that is scoped separately — and it is not a word-for-word translation of an English article. A market-specific programme is written around that market's buyer questions, terminology and commercial conditions.

Where an existing site needs to be adapted for another country before a content programme makes sense, international SEO and localisation work is the right starting point.

How it works.

  1. 01

    Commercial onboarding

What you sell, who buys it, which markets matter and what you are qualified to say.

  2. 02

    Research and gap analysis

Buyer questions, search demand, AI questions and what competitors have left uncovered.

  3. 03

    Topic plan

A prioritised programme with a commercial justification against every subject.

  4. 04

    Weekly production

One or two substantial articles a week, researched and sourced properly.

  5. 05

    Brief and publication support

The Authority Content Brief, publication-ready copy, links, schema and CTA.

  6. 06

    Monthly intelligence

Coverage, gaps, competitor movement and next month's prioritised plan.

Onboarding

Before regular production begins

The programme is built around your actual commercial strategy, not generic keyword volume. That requires a proper start.

  • What you sell
  • Who buys it
  • Your primary ideal customer profile
  • Target sectors
  • Target countries and geographies
  • Your primary commercial services
  • The high-value questions buyers ask
  • Known sales objections
  • Key competitors
  • Your current content estate
  • Existing search visibility
  • Current AI visibility, where that can be observed
  • Proof and case studies available to use
  • Subject-matter experts we can draw on
  • Excluded topics and claims
  • Commercial priorities

Topic selection

Where topics come from

Topics are generated commercially, then prioritised. Relevance beats volume: a subject with fifty highly relevant commercial searches is usually worth more than one with five thousand irrelevant ones.

  • Buyer questions
  • Search demand
  • AI and conversational-search questions
  • Competitor content gaps
  • Sales objections
  • Regulatory or market change
  • Sector developments
  • International market questions
  • Your own expertise
  • Case studies and project evidence
  • Product and service questions
  • Decision-stage questions
  • Comparison questions
  • Implementation questions
  • Commercial misconceptions worth correcting

The standard

The article standard

Would a serious buyer learn something useful from this even if they never contacted the client? If not, it is rewritten.

  1. 01

    The buyer question

The problem or question the article exists to answer, stated plainly.

  2. 02

    A useful direct answer

Given early, not withheld to the final paragraph.

  3. 03

    Expert explanation

The reasoning behind the answer, at the depth the subject needs.

  4. 04

    Relevant evidence

    Sourced, current and attributable.

  5. 05

    Examples

    Concrete situations rather than abstractions.

  6. 06

    Limitations and nuance

Where the answer changes, and where it does not apply.

  7. 07

    Commercial implications

What it means for cost, risk, timing or specification.

  8. 08

    Useful next actions

What a reader can actually do next.

  9. 09

    Source references

A retained log, not decorative links.

  10. 10

    Internal links

Deliberate connections to the wider commercial estate.

  11. 11

    One clear call to action

    Restrained, relevant, and singular.

Sections are never added mechanically. If an element does not improve the article, it is left out.

Evidence

Sources and factual quality

Where content touches law, regulation, statistics, market data, technical standards, safety, government policy, tax, employment, planning, compliance, scientific claims or financial data, it is written against authoritative, current sources.

  • Government and regulators
  • Standards bodies
  • Official industry bodies
  • Primary corporate sources
  • Original research
  • Recognised credible publications

Statistics, sources, quotes, survey findings, client results, case studies, regulations and research are never fabricated. Every article carries a source log.

Your expertise

Your expertise, not a generic industry summary

Where a subject depends on what your business genuinely knows, we go and get it: a founder interview, a technical expert interview, approved internal material, case-study evidence, project detail or your own methodology.

Expert views are never invented on your behalf. Where the expertise is proprietary, the content should capture it — that is the part competitors cannot copy.

Google

Google search readiness

  • Actual search intent, not a keyword in isolation
  • A natural target query cluster
  • A useful title and meta description
  • A clear H1 and logical heading structure
  • Internal links to related services and articles
  • Image opportunities where they genuinely help
  • Schema opportunities where they are valid
  • Crawlability
  • Cannibalisation checks across the existing estate

No keyword stuffing, and no two articles written against essentially the same intent.

AI answers

AI and answer-engine readiness

  • Clear, direct answers to real buyer questions
  • Factual structure that can be read and extracted
  • Useful definitions
  • Specific examples
  • Credible sourcing
  • Distinct expertise rather than restated consensus
  • Well-structured explanations and comparisons
  • Accurate, quotable statements of fact

We do not promise ChatGPT citations, AI recommendations, guaranteed inclusion in AI answers or rankings. Nobody can. The purpose is to improve answer readiness and source quality — the things that are actually within our control.

Internal-link architecture

Every article carries a deliberate internal-link plan: the relevant service page, sector page, country or location page, case study, related article, tool or report, and the commercial call to action where one belongs.

Twenty irrelevant links help nobody. Each new article should strengthen the commercial architecture that already exists.

One commercial next step per article

Each article carries a single primary commercial next step, chosen by the intent of the subject — not seven competing services stacked at the foot of the page.

  • Commercial Growth Sprint
  • Opportunity Engine
  • Authority Content Engine
  • Search and AI visibility work
  • International Market Entry
  • Fractional commercial leadership
  • Digital infrastructure
  • Distributor and partner search
  • International SEO and localisation

Evans Authority Content Brief

Every article arrives as a brief, not a document dump.

The weekly brief is the working deliverable: the article itself, plus everything needed to publish it properly and understand why it was written. It can be generated as a professionally designed PDF.

Illustrative structure only. Brief content is specific to each client programme and is never shown publicly.

Article PDF

A professional PDF where the article justifies one

Substantial articles can be issued as a designed PDF for a website download, a sales follow-up, a LinkedIn document, an email attachment, a resource centre or commercial outreach.

Not every article becomes a glossy report. The document system is restrained and used where the content genuinely warrants it.

Search Console data is only reported where access has been given. Where it has not, public observations are clearly separated from private performance data — and nothing is invented. AI visibility is reported as observation, never as a deterministic ranking.

Performance data, where you choose to share it

Where legitimate access is given, the programme uses Google Search Console, GA4, CRM or enquiry data and CMS content data to sharpen topic selection. Access is never a condition of the service.

Where no access exists, the reporting says so plainly and works from public observation.

Publication-ready, not unlimited website administration

The core service supplies publication-ready content. Publishing can be handled by your team, your existing agency or developer, or by Evans where that is agreed.

Routine CMS publishing is scoped deliberately when it is wanted. Larger structural changes belong to digital infrastructure work, not to a content subscription.

International

Authority content for UK and international growth

The same programme supports domestic authority and new-market credibility. What changes is the brief: the geography, the buyer questions, the terminology, the market conditions, the search behaviour and the proof that is relevant locally.

  • A UK companystrengthening subject authority in its domestic market

  • A British manufacturerbuilding credibility with German specifiers and distributors

  • An Australian companyestablishing credibility with UK buyers

  • A German manufacturerentering Britain and needing UK-relevant authority

  • An international B2B businessbuilding content around several markets at once

Evans Sales Consultancy is UK based. Research and production are carried out from the United Kingdom; we do not claim local offices in the markets we write about.

Why not just use AI?

AI can produce words quickly. That is not the hard part, and it never was.

  • Deciding what deserves to be written at all
  • Knowing which buyer question actually matters commercially
  • Judging which evidence is credible
  • Knowing what the business is genuinely qualified to say
  • Fitting the piece into the wider website
  • Making it work for search
  • Making it usable by AI systems
  • Deciding where it should link
  • Deciding what action the reader should take
  • Deciding what gets published next

The Authority Content Engine is the system around the content, not the typing. Evans uses modern AI-assisted workflows internally where they improve speed or quality — the product is judged on output quality, evidence and commercial usefulness, not on which tools were open.

Honest routing

Which Evans service do I need?

The Authority Content Engine is the right answer to one specific problem. It is not a cheaper substitute for the others, and we will say so.

If a business clearly needs a full digital infrastructure programme, that is the route we will recommend — content alone does not fix a fundamentally poor website.

Authority Content Engine and search / AI visibility

The Authority Content Engine creates the content estate. Visibility work measures how you are found, identifies gaps and recommends or implements improvements. They are complementary, not interchangeable.

Clients who take both qualify for the additional productised-service discount.

Authority Content Engine and digital infrastructure

The content programme can sit on top of an existing strong website, an Evans-built estate or a third-party platform. Where the website itself is structurally or commercially weak, a commercial website audit or digital infrastructure work is the honest recommendation.

Content is a layer on a working platform — never a patch over a broken one.

Evans International SEO & Localisation Pack

Need a core local market estate before ongoing content?

Authority content works once there is a properly localised commercial estate for buyers to land on. Where a business is entering a new market, the Localisation Pack builds that core estate first — one market, one principal language, up to 10 commercial pages. The £7,495 fixed fee does not include ongoing weekly content.

Evans Commercial Website Audit

Not sure whether content is the actual problem?

Where a website fails commercially, weak content is only one possible cause. The Commercial Website Audit reviews positioning, buyer journeys, proof, conversion, search and authority together, and says which of them is genuinely holding growth back before you commit to a recurring programme.

Authority Content Engine — questions

  • A recurring programme that researches, plans, writes and reports on substantial B2B authority content. It combines commercial topic strategy, buyer-question research, competitor gap analysis, source research, long-form writing, search and AI-answer structure, internal linking and monthly content intelligence.

  • A blog service starts with a keyword and produces words. This starts with the commercial question a buyer needs answered before they will trust or shortlist you, and treats the article as one part of a wider commercial architecture — topic selection, evidence, internal links, CTA and reporting included.

  • One substantial article each week on the standard programme, typically four a month. Two a week on Authority Content Engine Plus, typically eight a month. Exact counts follow the calendar.

  • Long enough to answer the subject properly. Substantial pieces often fall around 1,500 to 2,500 words, but we do not sell word counts and we do not pad content to hit a number.

  • Evans uses modern AI-assisted workflows internally where they improve speed or quality, in the same way any serious professional firm now does. What you are buying is the judgement around the content: what deserves to be written, which evidence is credible, what your business is qualified to say and what the reader should do next. Output is judged on quality, evidence and commercial usefulness.

  • From buyer questions, sales objections, search demand, AI and conversational questions, competitor gaps, market or regulatory change and your own expertise. Relevance outranks volume: fifty relevant commercial searches usually beat five thousand irrelevant ones.

  • Yes. Anything consequential — regulation, statistics, standards, policy, compliance, financial or technical data — is written against authoritative current sources, preferring government, regulators, standards bodies, official industry bodies and primary corporate sources. Every article carries a source log. Nothing is fabricated.

  • Yes. Technical manufacturing, engineering, building products and specialist B2B subjects are the work this programme was built for.

  • Yes, and for genuinely proprietary subjects we would want to. That can be a founder interview, a technical expert interview, approved internal material or project evidence. We do not invent expert opinion on your behalf.

  • Every article is built around real search intent with a considered title, meta description, heading structure, internal links, FAQ and schema opportunities and cannibalisation checks. There is no keyword stuffing.

  • It is written to be answer-ready: clear direct answers, factual structure, definitions, examples, credible sourcing and accurate extractable statements. That improves the odds of being a usable source.

  • No, and neither can anyone else. We commit to answer readiness, source quality and commercial usefulness, which are the things within our control.

  • The standard service supplies publication-ready content. Your team, your existing agency or developer can publish it, or Evans can where that is agreed and scoped. Unlimited website administration is not absorbed into the monthly fee.

  • Yes. Content produced for your programme is yours to publish and use.

  • Yes. The programme sits on top of any reasonable platform. If the website itself is the commercial problem, we will say so and point you at a website audit or digital infrastructure work instead.

  • Yes. The brief changes: target geography, local buyer questions, local terminology, market conditions and locally relevant proof. It is not a translated English article.

  • No. The standard fee covers one primary language and one commercial content programme. Additional languages or market programmes are scoped separately.

  • Yes, where the content justifies it — for downloads, sales follow-up, LinkedIn documents or resource centres. Not every article needs to be a designed document.

  • The publication-ready article plus the commercial objective, buyer question, audience, market, search intent, related and AI questions, competitor gap, recommended title, meta description, slug, H1, internal links, CTA, FAQ and schema recommendations, the source log, publication notes and the next related opportunities.

  • An executive summary, the content produced, authority coverage, competitor and content-gap intelligence, Google opportunities where access allows, AI answer observations and a prioritised plan for the following month.

  • A three-month initial programme.

  • It continues monthly, with one month's notice at any point.

  • This builds the content estate. Visibility work measures how you are found and what to fix. Most clients eventually want both, but they are separate services and we do not merge them into one cheaper package.

  • Digital infrastructure builds or rebuilds the commercial platform — the website, the architecture, the multilingual estate, the conversion system. The Authority Content Engine builds the ongoing content layer on top of it.

  • Yes. Many clients run the content programme alongside fractional leadership, market entry, recruitment or the Opportunity Engine.

  • If you add a new productised service to an existing Authority Content Engine, the added service takes 5% off. If you add the Authority Content Engine to a larger existing engagement, the content programme takes 10% off. Discounts never stack — the highest single applicable discount applies.

Publish the content your expertise already justifies.

One substantial, properly researched article every week, built around the questions your buyers are actually asking.
