UK permanent recruitment.
A better way to fund recruitment
One recruitment partner. One active vacancy. One predictable monthly cost.
The £199 + VAT monthly fee provides an ongoing recruitment partnership and access to the agreed recruitment service. A 5% success fee is payable only when Evans successfully places a candidate. The aim is simple: give growing businesses proper recruitment support without a large percentage fee every time they hire.
How the commercial model works
£199 + VAT per month
Covers the ongoing partnership and the agreed recruitment service for your active vacancy.
5% success fee
5% of the placed candidate’s first-year basic salary, plus VAT, payable when Evans successfully places a candidate.
12-month agreement
Recruitment Partner is an ongoing relationship. The monthly payment continues for the 12-month agreement.
One active vacancy
One role is actively recruited at a time, so each vacancy is properly worked.
Who it is for
Built for growing businesses that hire regularly.
- SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Growing companies
- Manufacturers and engineering companies
- Construction and fit-out businesses
- Professional services companies
- B2B and technology businesses
- Businesses making recurring commercial, operational, technical or professional hires
Particularly suitable if
You need more than a job advert.
- You recruit periodically throughout the year
- You do not need an internal recruitment department
- You would rather not pay a large agency percentage on every appointment
- You need more support than simply posting a job advert
- You want candidates actively sourced and screened before interview
- You want one recruitment relationship rather than starting again with different agencies
The one-active-vacancy model
One vacancy at a time. Properly worked.
Evans Recruitment Partner allows one active vacancy at any given time. Once that vacancy is filled, cancelled, formally paused or closed, the next vacancy can enter the active recruitment slot.
This lets Evans provide genuine sourcing, screening and candidate support while keeping the monthly cost substantially below many traditional recruitment models. It also helps you prioritise your most important hire, instead of handing several loosely defined vacancies to different agencies at once.
Sole agency during the active search
Evans commits time and direct sourcing effort to each active vacancy. In return, the same live vacancy is normally not issued to competing recruitment agencies at the same time, unless otherwise agreed. Evans can vary this where it makes commercial sense.
Salary guidance
Typically roles up to around £70,000.
£70,000 is guidance, not an automatic cut-off. Some roles below it need a bespoke search or Executive Recruitment; some straightforward roles around or slightly above it can still suit Recruitment Partner, at Evans’ discretion. Evans confirms suitability for every vacancy before it enters the active slot.

- Recruitment Partner annual membership
- £2,388
- 5% placement fee

Recruitment Partner questions
A UK permanent recruitment partnership for growing businesses. For £199 + VAT a month, Evans actively recruits one vacancy at a time, with a 5% success fee when a candidate is successfully placed.
£199 + VAT per month on a 12-month agreement, plus a 5% success fee on each successful permanent hire.
No separate upfront recruitment fee. The monthly fee covers the partnership; the success fee applies only when Evans places someone.
A fee of 5% of the successful candidate’s agreed first-year basic salary, plus VAT, for each permanent placement Evans makes.
When a candidate introduced by Evans accepts your offer and starts. The exact trigger and invoicing terms are set out in your agreement.
Because Recruitment Partner is an ongoing relationship rather than a one-off transaction. The 12 months is what makes a low monthly fee and a 5% success fee commercially workable.
Vacancy briefing, role scoping, salary guidance, job description and advert work, active sourcing, direct outreach, screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, feedback, offer support and ongoing recruitment advice for your active vacancy.
So each vacancy is properly worked. It allows genuine sourcing and screening while keeping the monthly cost well below many traditional recruitment arrangements, and it helps you prioritise your most important hire.
The next vacancy can enter the active slot. The same applies if a vacancy is cancelled, formally paused or closed.
Yes. As soon as the active vacancy closes, the next one can begin.
For the active vacancy, normally yes. Evans commits time and direct sourcing effort to each vacancy, and in return the same live vacancy is not issued to competing agencies at the same time unless otherwise agreed. Your other hiring is your own business.
Commercial, operational, technical and professional roles below executive level — for example Sales Executives, Account Managers, Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Operations Managers and Finance Managers.
Typically permanent roles up to approximately £70,000. That is guidance, not a fixed cut-off: suitability depends on seniority, complexity, candidate scarcity and other factors.
Sometimes. A straightforward role around or slightly above £70,000 may still suit Recruitment Partner at Evans’ discretion. More senior or complex roles usually suit Executive Recruitment.
Evans will say so at the role review. Highly specialised headhunting requiring bespoke research may be better handled through Executive Recruitment or a separately quoted search.
Director and board appointments are handled through Evans Executive Recruitment, which uses a bespoke assignment model.
Recruitment Partner is for recurring mid-level permanent hiring on fixed terms. Executive Recruitment is for senior, confidential and strategically critical appointments with a bespoke fee.
No. Recruitment Partner covers UK permanent recruitment only.
Not within one partnership, which covers one active vacancy at a time. Businesses with several simultaneous vacancies can discuss a separately scoped arrangement.
Yes. Direct outreach to relevant passive candidates is included where appropriate.
Evans screens and qualifies candidates before presenting them, so you only meet people who genuinely fit the brief. Final interviews and the hiring decision are yours.
