How do I find distributors or partners for my product?
Define the partner profile before building a list: geography, customer base, product categories, technical capability, sales coverage and why carrying your product would make commercial sense for them. Then identify and qualify organisations against that profile before approaching them. Partner & Distribution Engine does this continuously, from £695 + VAT per month.
- Distributors, resellers, agents, referral, strategic, specification and integration partners
- Every opportunity explains why the partner would want the relationship, not just why it helps you
- Human approval before any partner is contacted
Partner & Distribution Engine provides commercial partner research, identification and qualification. It does not negotiate or sign partner agreements, provide legal advice, or guarantee that any identified organisation becomes an active partner.
The core question
Who could help us reach the market?
Direct selling is only one route to growth. For some businesses, the highest-leverage commercial relationship is not another customer — it is a partner with an existing customer base, distribution, market access, technical influence, sales capability, local presence or complementary products.
Partner types covered
- Distributors
- Resellers
- Dealers
- Agents / representatives
- Referral partners
- Strategic partners
- Specification partners
- Integration partners
- White-label partners
- Implementation partners
- Affiliate / commercial referral networks
Not every partner type is relevant to every client. Irrelevant categories are never forced onto a partner thesis.
Not the same as Opportunity Engine, Market Entry or Channel Creation
A clearly distinct, complementary question.
Opportunity Engine
Who should we sell to?
Finds organisations that may buy from you directly. Partner & Distribution Engine finds organisations that may help you sell — a distributor, agent or referral partner rather than a direct buyer.
Explore Opportunity Engine →Market Entry
Where should we expand and how should we enter?
Market Entry decides where to expand and the entry route. Once a distributor-led or partner-led route is chosen, Partner & Distribution Engine continuously identifies and qualifies the potential partners in that market.
Explore Market Entry →Channel Creation
What else could we sell and how could we sell it?
Channel Creation decides what a new route to market should be — for example, a reseller network. Partner & Distribution Engine then helps identify the resellers who could make it work.
Explore Channel Creation →Distributor & Partner Search
A one-off fixed-fee project, not a recurring Engine.
Distributor & Partner Search is a £1,950 + VAT fixed-fee research project covering one target market. Partner & Distribution Engine is a recurring monthly service that continuously finds and qualifies partners across partner types and, where relevant, multiple markets.

The partner thesis
Equivalent to an acquisition thesis or Opportunity Engine target profile. Defined before any search begins, and requires human approval before activation.

- Differentiation
- Recurring revenue

No partner is contacted without your explicit approval.

Multi-Engine Partner Rate
Use more than one Engine only where it makes commercial sense.
Opportunity Engine finds new customers, Customer Expansion Engine grows existing ones, Acquisition Opportunity Engine finds businesses worth buying and Partner & Distribution Engine finds who could help you sell. When Engines run at the same time they share your authorised commercial profile, so a combined rate applies. There are no mandatory bundles.

- Eligible Engines: Opportunity Engine, Customer Expansion Engine, Acquisition Opportunity Engine and Partner & Distribution Engine. Channel Creation, Market Entry, Recruitment, Digital, AI projects and Fractional Sales Director are not automatically included.
- The rate applies while the Engines are active at the same time. If one stops, the rate adjusts to the number still active; it is never applied retroactively.
- It does not stack with the Business Builder Partner Rate, referral, pilot, promotional or bespoke pricing — the single most advantageous eligible rate applies. Existing agreed rates are only changed with Evans approval.
- Each Engine keeps its own initial three-month term and defined scope. Managed Engines remain structured, human-supervised services — combining them does not create unlimited consulting hours. No setup fees and no annual-prepayment discounts.
A good fit when…
- You sell a product or service where distributors, resellers, agents or referral partners are a credible route to market
- You want to grow without relying solely on direct selling
- You are entering a market and need to identify local commercial partners
- You have capacity to develop relationships once Evans surfaces them
Probably not the right fit when…
- Your business has no realistic partner, channel or referral route at all
- You expect guaranteed signed partnerships or a dedicated outbound sales team
- You need a one-off list for a single market rather than ongoing intelligence — see Distributor & Partner Search
